International Produce Summit (Ecuador)

QCS is hosting a two-day International Produce Summit in Guayaquil, Ecuador March 12-13, 2019! The summit will focus on new food safety regulations in the United States, explore how stakeholders in Latin America can accommodate the changes, and continue strengthening trade relationships between the U.S. and Latin America. In order for stakeholders to hear straight from the source, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) will lead many of the presentations in addition to presentations by Ecuadorian agencies such as Agrocalidad.

Produce Safety Alliance Grower Training Course 

The PSA Grower Training Course is one way to satisfy the FSMA Produce Safety Rule requirement outlined in § 112.22(c) that requires ‘At least one supervisor or responsible party for your farm must have successfully completed food safety training at least equivalent to that received under standardized curriculum recognized as adequate by the Food and Drug Administration.’

FSPCA Trainings

PCQI training courses will address the new Food Safety Modernization Act regulation, which requires every
covered processing facility to have one trained person as a Qualified Individual to implement and maintain a Food Safety Plan. FSVP training courses will provide participants with the knowledge to implement the requirements of the Foreign Supplier Verification Programs for importers of food for humans regulation of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
