Certification Coordinator.
Gainesville nonprofit Florida Organic Growers & Quality Certification Services seeks a full-time
Certification Coordinator. Responsibilities include review initial and final applications to ensure
compliance with domestic and international organic and food safety standards. Obtain all documentation
from applicants necessary to ensure compliance with domestic and international organic and food safety
standards. Answer applicant’s questions regarding the certification process and the handling and
processing of organic products. Make final certification decisions and issue minor non-compliances.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of food safety and organic standards, both domestic and international.
Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred. Pay range $13-17/hour. Please email resume and cover letter
