The Produce GAPs Harmonized Food Safety Standards development was an effort involving hundreds of stakeholders and led by The United Fresh Produce Association to reduce the number of GAP audits in North America to a common standard.

These standards have a focus on food safety and several organizations have already committed to adopting these standards throughout the supply chain. Make sure your produce buyer accepts these standards as food safety GAP compliance.
