The Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certification program of the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GAA) encompasses the entire production chain: hatcheries, farms, feed mills, and processing plants. The processing plant standard is recognized by the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). BAP standards cover most of the fish, crustacean and mollusk species produced around the globe.
